SCHUFA and Credit Check
SCHUFA credit checks are performed by some Deutschlandticket providers (e.g., DB Navigator) — at TicketPlus+, NO credit check is required.
What is SCHUFA?
SCHUFA (Schutzgemeinschaft für allgemeine Kreditsicherung) is Germany's largest credit reporting agency. It collects data on consumers' payment behavior and creates a SCHUFA score that evaluates creditworthiness. Over 90% of German banks and businesses use SCHUFA data for credit and contract decisions.

Why TicketPlus+ Doesn't Check Credit
TicketPlus+ relies on payment security through modern payment methods instead of credit checks:
- Apple Pay and Google Pay — Tokenized payment with biometric authentication; no default risk
- PayPal — Absorbs the default risk; buyer protection for both sides
- Immediate ticket delivery — No advance risk through instant payment
- Monthly cancellability — Short-term subscription with minimal default risk
This means: Even with a negative SCHUFA score or limited credit history, you can buy the Deutschlandticket at TicketPlus+ without issues.
